“We met in Italy over the Christmas Holidays. My best friend Maria (also my maid of honor) suggested we go out that night. I wasn’t really in the mood and nearly said no, but ended up changing my mind last minute. It was late, and most places were closed, so we ended up in a bar we hardly ever go to, which that night appeared to be even more dead than usual. Clearly, it was going to be a ‘quiet’ night. Or so I thought ... "
